This is more than just a dance night — it’s a celebration of South African culture, music and food, wrapped up in a high-energy social evening that welcomes everyone. Whether you’re a seasoned sokkie dancer, a complete beginner, or just here for the music, atmosphere and legendary food, you’ll feel right at home.
The evening kicks off with a Special Sokkie School from 6pm–7pm, perfect for anyone wanting to learn the basics or brush up their moves before the main event. From 7pm through to 11:45pm, the dancefloor comes alive with a live DJ, great music and plenty of space to dance, socialise and soak up the vibe.
Your ticket doesn’t just get you entry — it includes proper South African food. Adult tickets come with your choice of Boerewors roll or burger, Prego steak, Chicken Bunny Chow, or a Vegetarian Lentil Babotie. Kids’ tickets (under 12) include a hotdog, making this a genuinely family-friendly evening.
There’ll also be biltong, droëwors, South African groceries and desserts available throughout the night — because no SA social is complete without a few extra treats.

Shipping Information
Orders placed before 11:00 a.m. have a higher chance of being delivered within three working days. Generally, we aim to have all orders dispatched within a maximum of 5 working days of receipt. In most cases, as previously mentioned, orders are ‘out the door’ within three working days. If there is a likelihood of additional delay, we will advise you using either the email or telephone number you have provided.
Saturday Deliveries: All our prices exclude shipping within the UK Mainland (Free on orders above £50) from Monday to Friday. Highlands & Islands, we charge a small additional fee for delivery. We can provide Saturday deliveries before 1 pm to many parts of the UK, but we require the order to be received by us by 11 am on a Wednesday. This would require an additional surcharge to be paid before dispatch. Highlands & Islands, we can only do weekday deliveries.
Billy Tong currently markets its products exclusively to the UK, and our prices do not include the cost of delivery. This is calculated when you go to checkout and is dependent on your location.
